Woman found dead in Ctg

A woman was found dead in her residence in Sandwip upazila of Chittagong on Monday night.

The deceased was Khaleda Akter Nupur, 22, wife of Mansur of Ward-4 in the upazila. Mansur works in an ice-cream factory in the city and the couple has a one-and-half-a-year-old girl, said police.

Officer-in-Charge of Sandwip Police Station Abdus Salam said there were injury marks in Nupur's neck, throat and ears.

Police detained her mother-in-law Shilpi Akter while her husband is on the run, said the OC.
