Zahidur Rahman passes away

ARM Zahidur Rahman, production director of Beximco Pharma, died at a Dhaka hospital on Thursday. He was 59, says a press release.

Zahid tested Covid-19 positive and had been undergoing treatment there since last Tuesday.

He left behind his wife, a son and a daughter.

Zahidur Rahman completed his M Pharm from Dhaka University in 1983. He spent nearly his entire professional careerin Beximco Pharma.

In a condolence message, Beximco Group Vice Chairman Salman F Rahman MP said, "Zahidur Rahman was deeply committed to his responsibilities and work ethics. He never missed his professional duties during the Covid-19 pandemic in order to ensure uninterrupted supply of life-saving medicines."
