These are truly food for thoughts for the people of the country irrespective of their association with any party. How can we have rule of law in these circumstances? There is no effort to capture and punish the culprits. I am glad to see The Daily Star and Prothom Alo coming forward and boldly exposing the facts by publishing the phone conversation between Shamim Osman and Nur Hossain.

Shamim Osman's involvement in the seven-murder case should be investigated. If it is found that he was the mastermind behind this or he was involved in any way, he should be arrested right away. The law enforcement authorities should not waste time deliberately.

Nobody can touch Shamim Osman, known as the godfather of Narayanganj.
