“Wasa eyes two rivers,” published on February 09, 2014

What about the revival of the four rivers: Buriganga, Shitalakkhya, Balu and Turag? Who is supposed to rescue those rivers from the encroachers' grip?

Md. Shahjahan
From time immemorial, ponds in which surface water has been preserved, have protected our environment. But urbanisation has destroyed it.

Please finish this project in time, about 80% of it, before next election. Very sad that there is no improvement of Buriganga, Shitalakkhya, Balu and Turag. It's a shame that Dhaka is the worst liveable city in the world. How long will we have to hear this? Still there is no development of communications system in Dhaka. If government wants to make it a mega city, they must finish the mega projects such as metro rail in next 5 years. We are still lagging behind even Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar in terms of beautification and cleanliness.

Sujonbeen
Groundwater in the capital continues to be depleted as Dhaka Wasa is going to set up three new water treatment plants to increase the use of surface water significantly by next seven years.

“Let's have some commonsense” (February 10, 2014)

Mofi
It's the best photo story I have witnessed in last 10 years. May I thank the photographer and the team whoever were involved in presenting us this story? I still remember my first day of SSC exam when the TNO came to me and asked my name and how I was feeling. I remember it took at least 15 minutes for me to come back to normal state.
If the education minister wants to visit any centre, he should do this in a low-profile.

Plain truth
Sadly, commonsense is a very rare type of sense that you can expect from Bangladeshi politicians!
