I don't think that the incumbent government suffers from any lack of control. Their problem is over-control not lack of it. They have completely marginalised the opposition, the civil society, neutralised the Hefajat-Gonojagoron conflict, fully controlled the law-enforcing agencies, made the parliament their sole territory, made constitutional bodies docile.
What more control you want?
