“Traffic mess caused to welcome PM,” published on June 12, 2014

Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury said Chinese government congratulated Hasina on her assuming power for the second time. I have reason to question his statements. All governments in Bangladesh have earned reputation for making incorrect or distorted statements. So I would like to ask Mr. Chowdhury to fully explain the context of this “congratulation”.

Dear PM, kindly see the picture uploaded in the multimedia of this newspaper. Kindly see the tired faces of Ismail Hossain and his wife who went to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Shahbagh, for the treatment of their ailing baby in the morning. Because of your partymen's extravagance on your returning home, this poor family had to walk all the way to Farmgate and then after waiting the whole day, at last they got into a bus at 4.00pm.
You're waving at the crowds happily thinking that people are so happy for all these. No, it's not. I wish you had a clear understanding of the general public's perception, pain and sufferings.

One solution could be to use helicopter instead of car when the prime minister travels in Dhaka and beyond.

“Education system riddled with flaws” (June 12, 2014)
Turja
To me, the main problem is the flexibility in giving marks. I think government is taking the number of GPA 5 scorers in SSC and HSC as a measure of success rather than focusing on quality education.
