Congrats to Selima Ahmad

Congrats to Selima Ahmad, a leading businesswoman of the country, on her winning the prestigious Oslo Business for Peace Award 2014 for her socially responsible and ethical business practices. She is the first Bangladeshi woman to have won the award. It's encouraging that women in Bangladesh are proving themselves competent again and again through achieving outstanding feats. We have known from news report that Selima is actively involved in developing more than 7,000 women entrepreneurs. She said she has been working to see women entrepreneurship and private sector grow in Bangladesh. Women, willing to take up business, should take inspiration from her. And the government should also ensure safe working environment for women across the country so that they can accomplish their goal with less obstructions. We thank her for setting an example to Bangladeshi women.
