After combing through the Google Play store for good cooking games I found one that somewhat met my expectations - Cooking Master is a game where you actively cook different dishes and serve customers before they get angry and leave. Some of the food you just have to tap on to serve - like tomatoes and bread. And others - like mushrooms or meat (chicken, beef, goose liver) you have to cook on the stove. By tapping, you put the food on the stove and let it cook for a few seconds. Keeping it on for too long burns it. If you cook it a perfect 100%, customers give you more points. If you overcook it the quality comes down by a few percent and so on. So you have to pay attention to the food and be fast at the same time as customers are always rushing in. Most of the time customers order a combination of two things.
I found it pretty addictive. The sound effects are very good and realistic. It has three different modes - Casual Mode, Time Mode and Story Mode. They are challenging as you have to balance quality of food and time but there isn't much difference between the modes. It's always the same food - no new dishes unlocked or anything of the sort so it gets a little boring after a while. But if you're into cooking games it's a good way to pass time.
