8 bombs found in Jessore,one held

 Detectives arrested a youth with eight hand-made bombs in Puraton Kasba area of Jessore district town early yesterday.

The arrestee was identified as Khairul Basar, 32, son of Abdul Kader of Talikhola area in the town.

Akkas Ali, officer-in-charge of Jessore Kotwali Police Station, said the law enforcers raided the area around 2:30am and arrested Khairul with the bombs.

A case was filed in this connection, said the OC.
