9 BNP-Jamaat men land in jail

A court here on Tuesday sent nine local BNP and Jammat activists to jail, rejecting their bail prayers in a case filed for subversive activities.

They are Minhaj Uddin Chowdhury, Shoaibur Rahman, Shamim, Alam, Shahnur, Shahjul, Mamun, Ramjan and Jamal. All are the activists of Golapganj and Goainghat upazila units of BNP and Jamaat.
