Abducted man found dead

Law enforcers' recovered the body of man from Shidhui Jiri area in Alikadom upazila of the district on Friday night, two days after his alleged abduction.

The deceased is Borhan Uddin, 55, of Pan Bazar area in the upazila.

Quoting victim's family members, Alikadom Zone Commander Lt Col Sarwar of Bangladesh Army said armed criminals abducted Borhan from the upazila headquarters around 12:00noon on Wednesday.

Locals spotted Borhan's body in a ditch beside Thanchi-Alikadom road and informed the police.
