AL leader 'abducted'

An Awami League leader of Benapole municipality unit was abducted from Aricha Ferry terminal in Manikganj district early yesterday.
The victim. Mahtab Uddin, is joint secretary of the unit. 
Victim's son Shahjalal Sohel said a gang abducted his father from the terminal around 2:00 am while he was returning to Benapole from Dhaka by a bus. 
The driver and helper of the bus tried to save Mahtab, but failed.
