BCL man lands in jail

A court here on Wednesday sent a man of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to jail, rejecting his bail prayer in seven cases filed against him. Senior Judicial Magistrate Imtiajul Islam passed the order when the district unit BCL man, Tushar Sheikh, son of Ahmmad Sheikh of Mollapara of the town, appeared before the court, seeking bail in the afternoon. Tushar was wanted in several cases, including those for terrorism, extortion and torching vehicles, said Asaduzzaman Munshi, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
