Boy strangled

Criminals strangled a teenage boy at Mandolsen village in Muktagachha upazila of the district yesterday. The deceased is Amirul Islam, 15, son of Omar Ali of Kandigaon village. Locals and family sources said Amirul went out of their house with his battery-run auto-rickshaw on Monday morning and did not return since then. Locals found the body in the area in the morning and informed the police.

The law enforcers recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. A gang killed Amirul and took away his vehicle, suspected police.
