A day after BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia returned to her Gulshan residence, the government last night redeployed police personnel in front of it to ensure her security.

"A seven-member police team from Rajarbagh Police Line was deployed at the BNP chairperson's Gulshan residence 'Firoza' around 10:30pm," BNP chief's media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told The Daily Star.

Earlier on March 1, police personnel engaged in ensuring security of Khaleda at her Gulshan residence were withdrawn while she had been staying in her political office at Gulshan.

Ninety-two days after her stay in the office, Khaleda returned to her Gulshan residence on Sunday following her bail in two graft cases.
