Cow fattening tablets seized

Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) of Joypurhat 3 Battalion seized at least 1,95,000 illegal cow fattening tablets in Hakimpur upazila of the district yesterday morning. The market price of the tablets is around Tk 39 lakh, said BGB officials. Atahar Ali, commander of Hili camp in Hakimpur upazila, said a BGB team raided Fakirpara village in the upazila and seized the tablets. The tablets were smuggled into Bangladesh, he added.
