Fake DB man arrested

Police arrested a fake member of the Detective Branch (DB) of police from a restaurant at College Road in the district town on Friday.

The arrestee is Tuhin Biswas, 27, son of late Intaj Ali Biswas of Dariapur village in Sreepur upazila.

Police said Tuhin, identifying himself as a DB police, have long been involved in several criminal activities.

On Friday morning, he went to Al Mansur Hotel in the area and took Tk 5,000 from two people.

On information, police rushed in and arrested Tuhin.
