Farmer electrocuted

A farmer was electrocuted at Sonatola village in Sadullapur upazila of the district yesterday. The dead is Abu Bakar Siddique, 60, a resident of the village.  Witnesses said Abu Bakar came in contact with a snapped electric wire while he was cutting grass for his cattle around 11:00am. Locals rescued Abu Bakar in an unconscious state and rushed him to Sadullapur Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead.
