Housewife found dead

Police recovered the body of a housewife from Dakkhin Sahrail village in Singair upazila yesterday.The deceased was identified as Rahima Akhter, 19, wife of Abul Khair, a farmer of the village. Quoting neighbours, police said after having diner the couple went to their room around 11:00pm. Finding no response till till 10:30am, neighbours peeped through the window of their room and found Rahima's body lying on the floor. On information, police went to the village, recovered the body and sent it to Manikganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.They couple often used to quarrel and blame each other for having illicit relations with others, police quoted neighbours as saying. Police said Khair might have strangled Rahima and fled the scene.
