Kid drowns in lake

A three-year-old boy drowned in a lake in Sreepur upazila of the district yesterday. The deceased is Sourabh, 3, son of Abdur Rahim Badsha of Singdighi village. Fazlul Haque, chairman of Maona Union Parishad, said Sourabh fell into the lake near their house while he was playing on its bank and drowned.
