Kid drowns in pond

A child drowned in a pond at Dakkhin Madraj village in Charfassion upazila yesterday morning. The deceased is Sufia, 2, daughter of Kamal Hossain of the village. Police and locals said Sufia accidentally fell into the pond near their house while playing on its bank and drowned.
