Man held with firearms

Police arrested a man with two pistols, 10 bullets and four magazines in Koilar-Diar Bazar area under Shibganj upazila of the district on Friday. The arrestee is Ziaur Rahman, 35, son of Kofiluddin of Chhoto Hadinagar village in the upazila. On secret information, a police team raided the area and arrested Ziaur with the firearms and bullets. A case was filed in this connection, said Moinul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station.
