Missing housewife found dead

Police recovered the body of a missing housewife from a paddy field at Ghanshyampur village in Hakimpur upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased is Ferdousi Begum, 40, wife of Atiar Rahman of the village. She went missing on Saturday.

Locals found the body at the field around 1:00pm and informed the police, said Harun-ur-Rashid, officer-in-charge of Hakimpur Police Station.

The law enforcers rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, said the OC.
