Nine Indian cattle seized

A special taskforce in a drive seized nine cattle worth about Tk 8.10 lakh from Dariapur area in Chapainawabganj municipality yesterday morning. Lt Col Abu Zafor Sheikh Mohammad Bazlul Haque, commanding officer of BGB-9 Battalion, said on secret information, a special taskforce, including Executive Magistrate Gonopati Roy and the border guards, raided the area at around 9:30am and seized nine bullocks brought from India illegally. None was arrested in this connection, said the CO.
