Schoolteacher electrocuted

A schoolteacher died from electrocution at Patkelpota in Paikgachha upazila of the district on Saturday night. The deceased was identified as Nurul Huda, 55, headmaster of Patkelpota Government Primary School, and a resident of Daramari village in Mirpur upazila of Kushtia district. Locals said Nurul came in contact with a live electric wire while he was working at his house around 8:00pm. He was rushed to the upazila health complex where on-duty doctors declared him dead, said police.
