Youth electrocuted in Jessore

A youth died from electrocution in Bostapotti area of Jessore town early yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Alim Hossain, 20  son of Jinnat Hossain of Kasba Kanthaltala area.

Mafijur Rahman, uncle of the deceased, said Alim came in contact with a live electric wire while he was pasting election posters of Awami League nominated candidate on a wall.

He was admitted to Jessore Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injures at about 1:15am.
