Pori Moni’s film ‘Dodor Golpo’ to release new song this Eid

Earlier, Pori Moni announced her return to the big screen with the government-funded film “Dodor Golpo”. Shooting for the project began in October 2023. Although production was completed, there had been little update on the film’s progress since then.

Now, ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, production company G-Series has shared a new update regarding the film. A song from “Dodor Golpo” is scheduled for release during the festive season, while the completed film will be submitted to the Film Certification Board after Eid.

Titled “Jochhona”, the song will premiere on G-Series’ YouTube channel on the eve of Eid. The track has been written by Samuel Haque, composed by Prince Mahmud, and performed by Tanzir Tuhin, with music arrangement by Shaker Raza.

In “Dodor Golpo”, Pori Moni plays the lead role of Kajol Chowdhury. Opposite her, Symon Sadik stars as Raihan, a photographer.

The film has been directed by Reza Ghatok, who also wrote the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The cast further includes Amirul Haque Chowdhury, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, and Ahsan Habib Nasim, among others.
