Democracy's death

Democracy's death

We think from now on January 5 could be observed as the D Day (Death of Democracy Day) because on that day people of Bangladesh lost their basic right to vote. Everything is controlled by the people who have power. They can turn the night into day and the day into night. They have formed the government in the most unusual and objectionable manner.
We are feeling suffocated as the whole country seems to have become a prison. The sons of this soil made supreme sacrifice to give us a free land but we are shackled in deep fear and dismay not knowing what the future holds for us.
January 5 election is not acceptable in any sense so an inclusive election under a CTG must be arranged immediately. People of Bangladesh must be granted their right to franchise.
