Distortion of Bangla worrying

We often receive messages in our mobile phones from the government. These messages are written in Bangla using English letters which is a bit odd. Can't they write the SMSs using Bangla alphabet? Valiant sons of this soil sacrificed their lives to protect our dearest mother tongue from the clutch of Pakistani rulers during the Language Movement in 1952. It pains me more when I see the young generation of the country do not speak Bangla properly on FM Radio or during cultural or other activities. I also urge everybody not to distort our very rich Bangla language.
