Blackpink makes history at MTV Video Music Awards

Blackpink made history at MTV's Video Music Awards (VMAs), with their member, Lisa, winning the 'Best K-Pop' award for her song "Lalisa". The other K-Pop bands nominated were BTS for "Yet To Come", Itzy for "Loco", Seventeen for "Hot", and many others.

Blackpink had a historical run at the VMAs, winning the 'Best Metaverse Performance', a new category for the 2022 VMAs. Fans of the group were overjoyed, and took to social media to showcase their support for Blackpink.

The all-girl K-Pop group also got to perform their latest single, "Pink Venom" at the show.
