Well-known band Parthibo's vocalist, Ashfaqul Bari Rumon, has been leading the band for the last two decades. In his career of three decades in the music industry, this is the first time that the singer has released a solo number. The song, titled "Jhapsha", released on October 20. The lyrics for the track has been penned by Galib Sarkar.

"Although it might be a little late to the 'solo' party, its better late than never," said the artiste. "I felt that is time I should start afresh and do something solo, as a singer."

The vocalist opened a YouTube channel, Instagram and Facebook pages as well. The music video of the song has been shot in Kolkata. It has been directed by Archan Chakraborty.

Apart from lending voice to the song, Rumon has also composed it. The recording, mixing, mastering, base and rhythm programming has been done by Kibu.

Earlier, he was a member of the band Ignatius, before joining Parthibo. He has also made scores for television, commercials and films.

"I like making different types of music, which does not necessarily go with the tone band music," he shared. "From that perspective, my idea of making solo music came up." In December 2021, his first solo number "Bhangchhe Pajor" was released, under the banner of Gaanchill Music.  Two more songs titled "Bhalobashar Golpo" and "Bangabandhu" was also released under Shadhin Music's banner.

On November, Parthibo is going to release their new song "Olpo Ektu Akash" along with an animated video.
