A solo exhibition titled “Seeking Sacred Beauty: The Devotional Art of Malay Bala” opened yesterday (October 18), at La Galerie, Alliance Française de Dhaka. 

Bringing together the distinctive works of eleven emerging artists, “Eternal Eleven” showcases a range of creative expressions exploring personal visions, emotions, and dreams. The exhibition stands as a testament to the young artists’ evolving mastery and their shared passion for visual storytelling.

Farooki responds that the museum will provide trauma response support in the future, including in-person counselling sessions and a hotline number for the families of victims and visitors. Founded in 1975, Chattogram-based theatre troupe Gonayon Natyosomproday has completed 50 years of its journey. To mark the golden jubilee, the troupe will host a seven-day theatre festival titled Gonayon Natyoutshob, beginning on October 10 at the District Shilpakala Academy in Chattogram.
