Sachin Pilgaonkar has confirmed that his iconic TV show "Tu Tu Main Main" is returning to TV screen. This time, Supriya Pilgaonkar will play the saas (mother-in-law) in the series.

The sweet and sour arguments between the late Reema Lagoo (mother-in-law)  and actor Supriya Pilgaonkar (daughter in law) became an instant hit among the masses.

The first episode of the series aired in July 1994, and had a successful run on TV.

In a recent interview, Sachin stated that he is already working on resurrecting "Tu Tu Main Main" and discussed actor-wife Supriya Pilgaonkar's role in the upcoming program. "We intend to bring the show back. We're already at work on it. Supriya will no longer be the daughter-in-law, but the mother-in-law," the actor told News18.

In "Tu Tu Main Main," Reema Lagoo played Devki Gopal Verma and Supriya Pilgaonkar played Radha Ravi Verma. Among those that appeared on the show were Mahesh Thakur, Kuldeep Pawar, Bhavana Balsavar, and Jayati Bhatia.
