Dr Muhammad Yunus congratulates Kishwar on her success

Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus recently published a video addressed to MasterChef Australia finalist Kishwar Chowdhury, congratulating her on her journey so far and for securing a spot in the finale of the competition.

"I am very proud of you. I wanted to say hello to you and tell you that how much I admire you and all the dishes that you have cooked, introducing them as a part of our culture, a part of our tradition," he said.

He also expressed his wish to meet this Australian-Bangladeshi former home cook. "I hope that we can meet one day, but for now, I only wanted to say hello," he mentioned.

The culinary sensation has been earning many praises with her Bangladeshi recipes not only from the MasterChef judges, but also by Bangladeshis from all around the world.

The grand finale of MasterChef Australia is currently going on, with the world eagerly waiting to crown the winner. Regardless of the results, Kishwar Chowdhury has already made history by representing Bangladeshi cuisine on a world stage.
