Stars galore at The Daily Star’s 32nd anniversary celebrations

The Daily Star hosted its 32nd anniversary celebrations in the capital on Saturday, awarding 12 champions of freedom of thought. During the programme, many celebrities graced the event with their smiling faces and endless glamour.

By 6:30 in the evening, the grand ballroom of Radisson Blu was teeming with celebrities. "I cannot believe that I got to meet my hero, Serajul Islam Chowdhury", said actress Ashna Habib Bhabna. "I wish my best to The Daily Star for its courageous 32 years.

CEOs, journalists and businessmen were also present during the programme. Jaya Ahsan, one of the country's biggest stars, turned heads with her glamorous green sari. Azmeri Haque Badhan was no less, with her deep-blue sari – both gorgeous women were instantly paraded by fans.
