More rains likely across the country over 72 hours: BMD
There may be more rains across the country including Dhaka over 72 hours starting from 9:00am today, according to a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," the Met office said.
Country's highest 10mm rainfall was recorded in Netrakona in the 24 hours till 6:00am today.
Day temperatures may rise slightly, and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The country's highest temperature was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday in Rajshahi.
Meanwhile, monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over the north Bay.
