Everything is possible after Jan. 5!

March 8 is the International Women's Day. All over the world it is observed and in Bangladesh, many programmes are also arranged to celebrate this day. But we are taken aback by learning that police obstructed the opposition political party's scheduled programme of... sorry, sorry I forgot that in our unique government, there is no opposition, the government and the opposition have merged into one. It was BNP's women wing, Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, who arranged a rally to celebrate the day. The female leaders and activists of the BNP gathered at the gate of their office at Nayapaltan but they were forced into the office by police and were barred from bringing out the rally.
I think from now on we should not be shocked by any happenings because in the present circumstances, everything is possible. January 5, 2014 has taught us this lesson.
