2 die of dengue, 672 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least two dengue patients died and 672 others were hospitalised, the highest number of single-day hospitalisations this year, in the 24 hours until 8:00am today.

Both deaths were reported from Dhaka South City Corporation, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new deaths and cases, the total number of dengue-related deaths has risen to 61 and the number of cases to 19,345.

Currently, 1,441 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
