Mother's Day belittles a mother

Mother's Day belittles a mother

'Ma' is a simple two-lettered Bangla word that carries a profound feeling of connectedness. A mother's love for her children has no geographical boundary. A mother understands the sorrows, pains, pleasures, happiness, hunger, thirst, and the dreams of her children. When she prays, she never prays for herself, but for her children. A mother is a precious person whose small heart can accommodate the love for all her children. Mother's Day is a crude commercialisation of the value of a mother. A true Mother's Day should be reflected every moment through gratitude, respect and love. Mothers are waiting in front of the locked doors of their children's homes. Please open the door, welcome them with a big smile and embrace them warmly. Tell them we are the same soul residing in two separate persons.
