Navy's low-cost drones

TDS's front page news of March 8 on the above subject speaks well and positive about our Navy. It was very heartening to note the Chief of Naval Staff's statement that earlier, import of drone-like devices used to cost a minimum of taka 15 million each; but now making them at home will only cost taka one lakh.
Further, to keep a watchful eye in our south-eastern border where Myanmar's internal problems often spill over into our territory; the army aviation wing may deploy drones in this area, like what the navy is doing foreshore for us.
