<i>Double tragedy</i>

Another tragedy followed recovery of drowned college student Real's body from Madhabkunda waterfall in Baralekha upazila of Moulvibazar on Sunday as a local youth, who had helped fire brigade divers to find it, died of heart attack after seeing the body. Khandaker Rahimul Islam Real, 19, a student of Uttara Anwara Model Degree College in Dhaka, drowned in the ditch of Madhabkunda waterfall when he was swimming there along with a few companions on Saturday afternoon. After local Fire Brigade divers failed to find his body, a team of Fire Brigade divers from Dhaka went to Madhabkunda and recovered the body. As Real's body was brought out of the ditch, Fayez Ahmed, 28, died of heart attack when he saw Real's body. He had helped the fire brigade divers during their recovery drive. Son of Nur Miah of Kholagaon village under Baralekha upazila, Fayez had a small shop near Madhabkunda waterfall. Real's body was brought to Baralekha Police Station and later handed over to his father and uncle, said officials and witnesses. On Saturday, Real, son of Khandakar Md Shafique of Samajpur village under Khoksha upazila of Kushtia district, went to Madhabkunda waterfall as member of a group of 12 students of different educational institutions in Dhaka, said police and administrative officials.
