Aggrieved Pabna BNP leaders form new committees

Internal feud in Pabna BNP surfaced anew as aggrieved leaders yesterday formed Sadar upazila and pourasava units rejecting the existing ones formed by the district convening committee. The committees were declared at a rally at Pabna Community Center with former president of Sadar upazila unit Abdus Samad Khan Montu in the chair. Saiful Islam Badsha, Monwarul Islam Firoz, Ahasan Ahmed Sabbir, SM Fardouse Monju, Nur Mohammad Masum Boga, Mosabbir Hossain Sonju, Aslam Hamid, Mosharraf Hossain were present. They all were the leaders of the previous committees of BNP Pabna district and Sadar upazila units. The aggrieved leaders said they would form the committees of other upazila units and the district committees gradually comprising the dedicated leaders who have been dropped from the convening committees. They blamed Samsur Rahman Simul Bishwas for excluding the dedicated party leaders from the district convening committee formed on June 9. They urged BNP high command to include the dedicated leaders in the district and upazila committees to save the party from “conspirators.” Abdus Samad Khan Montu and Saiful Islam Badsha have been made conveners of BNP Pabna sadar upazila and poura units.
