One killed in clash

One person was killed and four others were injured in clashes between family members of two brothers over a disputed land in Muladi upazila on Sunday evening. Sultan Howladar,65, succumbed to injuries after he was allegedly hit by his brother Hakim Howlader at Char Pokkhiya village under Gachhua union. Amiruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Muladi police station said the family members of Sultan and Hakim engaged in clashes with lethal weapons at about 4:00 Sunday afternoon. The injured are Sultan's wife Parul Begum,55, Salauddin, 22, Hakim Howladar, 60, and Rashida Begum, 26.
