Housewife murdered

A housewife was murdered at village Char Balitha in Debhata upazila on Tuesday night. The victim was identified as Jahanara Khatun, 30, wife of Harun-or-Rashid. Police quoted locals as saying that Neighbour Kamal's wife picked up a quarrel with Jahanara over missing of her hen in the afternoon. At around 11:30pm, neighbours found Jaharna hanging from a beam at her house. They informed the police who rushed to spot, recovered the body and sent it to Satkhira Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The body bore injury marks. A case was filed with Debhata Police Station.
