Tribute to a great poet
January 25 is the birthday of Michael Madhusudan Dutt. Though born into a rich family, he suffered a lot throughout his whole life because of his indomitable will to lead a free life. His sorrow could not snatch his creative impulse. He would ever remain a bright star in the world of Bengali literature. His creations are our national assets too. At the same time, he would inspire millions of free thinking people. In fact, he was above all kind of narrowness. However, people of his times misunderstood him. He was born in Jessore district of Bangladesh. Being citizens of this country, we are proud of him. The present generation must know about this great poet.
