PM deserves thanks
While presiding over a cabinet meeting on Monday, 25 January, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked the ministers, secretaries and public servants not to pile up files on their tables as she reminded that the present government did not come to power to while away time. She said, ''We are here to serve the people of the country for their welfare and to improve their fate,'' also urging the ministers and bureaucrats to do their respective work with more sincerity, dignity and responsibility.
For the welfare of the country, the opposition party alongside the ruling one must come forward and work together.
