Touchstone statue seized

BDR jawans recovered a touchstone statue worth Tk1 crore from bordering Bibir Bazaar Murapara graveyard in Sadar Dakkhin upazila on Friday. Acting on secret information, a patrol team of BDR recovered the statue from the graveyard in the evening. Sensing presence of the border guards, the smugglers fled the scene leaving behind the statue.
