Science education
For science in Bangladesh to be put on a firm foundation, it is important to cultivate a love for it. This can happen only when knowledge, rather than imposition, becomes the end-product of enquiry by a curious mind. Children should be encouraged to conceive and design experiments.
Higher education should be made accessible only to those who deserve it. We need huge investments to get the requisite infrastructure and trained teachers. Learning by rote should be given a decent burial.
