4 more 'rajakars' sued in Bagerhat for killing 2 FFs
A case was filed Saturday here against four alleged rajakars (collaborators) for killing two freedom fighters during the Liberation War in 1971.
Morelganj thana recorded the case as per the court order as Shah Jamal Khan of Kharaikhali village filed the case with the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate on February 3.
The accused are Nuru jamadder, 64, Aziz Sheikh, 65, Mantu Sheikh, 62, and Abdul Mazid, 63, of the village.
Police said, the plaintiff alleged that the accused Rajakars attacked on their house on November 24, 1971 and picked up his grandfather Rahman Ali and father Serost Ali Khan.
Later, they tied them up with the two trees beside their house and shot them dead.
With this, 39 cases have so far been filed against 511 alleged rajakars here for killing freedom fighters and carrying out looting and arson attack during the Liberation War.
