One killed in wall collapse

A pedestrian was killed when a boundary wall of a building collapsed on him at Boro Moghbazar in the city yesterday. The dead was identified as Mohammad Selim, 35, a labourer and resident of Payrabagh. Ramna police told The Daily Star that Selim was returning home at Moghbazar at around 6:30pm. When he was passing the building, the dilapidated boundary wall collapsed on him. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 7:30pm where the doctors declared him dead.
